Where the money stops
Verification is an evidence decision, not a product. A paid plan includes the work of a review, never its outcome.
Rankings run in score order on every plan. Your Councl Score is built from your own reviews, record and web presence, and nothing on this page carries any weight in it. If the evidence does not hold up, there is no Verified mark — which is the only reason the mark means anything.
What a Level A evidence review checks
One review a year, done by hand. We take the claims on your profile and test each one against the source that can confirm it.
- Standing
- Bar admissions and practising certificates, checked against the issuing regulator.
- Experience
- Years in practice and the attorneys named on your profile, against the public record.
- Filing record
- Registered-agent numbers and trademark or patent filings, matched to the office registers.
- Reach
- The offices and jurisdictions you list, confirmed as places you actually practise.
Pass and your profile carries the Verified mark for the year. Fail and it does not, and the review is not refunded. Read how the score works for what the review does not touch.
